Biography:

Dr. Bridget Turaga is a Strategic Advisor in the Technology, Innovation, and Partnerships (TIP) Directorate at the National Science Foundation (NSF).  She is working to develop an international strategy for TIP that nurtures partnerships that drive and accelerate innovation ecosystems, technology translational and development, and workforce development.  From 2019 to 2023, she served as a Program Director in the NSF Office of International Science and Engineering covering research security and cooperation with India, South Korea, China, and Taiwan.  Prior to joining NSF, Bridget was the Global Strategy Unit Chief on the China Desk at the State Department and the China Director at the White House National Security Council.  Bridget holds a Ph.D. in Biology from MIT and a B.S. from Brown University.
