The U.S. National Science Foundation's Language Access Program aims to increase access to NSF-conducted programs and activities for individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP).
NSF's policy is to provide individuals with limited English proficiency meaningful access to NSF-conducted programs and activities in which they may be individually eligible to participate. These individuals are eligible to receive language assistance with respect to a particular type of service, benefit or encounter.
